Our Programs |
| The ATH professional training staff creates an atmosphere that is conducive to getting the most out of each lesson while at the same time having fun. Each lesson provides an athlete with an opportunity to make strides toward fulfilling their potential. The combined knowledge and experience of our staff is unsurpassed and their resumes speak for themselves. |
Pitching |
| Whether training for softball or baseball, we teach the core mechanics of pitching with the Tom House method, training each athlete to repeat a consistent and powerful delivery, without the chance of injury. Our proven techniques along with the athletes natural movement allows each pitcher to foster their own style with success. As each pitcher matures, proper technique, arm care, conditioning and pitching strategy will become a valuable staple added to each personalized lesson. |
| Catching |
ATH catching trainers teach proper catching techniques to beginners and experienced catchers. Using key concepts, catchers will learn proper stance,
set up, receiving, framing, blocking, throwing and how to be the leader of
a winning team. |
| Hitting |
| The Matt Nokes hitting techniques we teach to both baseball and softball players are the same, because the goals of each are the same: learning a consistent, repeatable, powerful swing! Once the athlete has mastered the mechanics of his or her swing, the mental side of hitting will be introduced to create a well rounded at bat every time they step to the plate. With continuous practice and training, your results will be extraordinary! |
| Fielding |
Fielding is a skill that is often overlooked, as it is perceived as not as fun as
hitting and pitching by most players. Many games are won or lost by fielding and nothing frustrates a pitcher more than having to throw more pitches than necessary due to shabby fielding. ATH trainers will teach proper positioning for both outfielders and infielders, techniques on catching fly balls and grounders along with throwing, cutting and strategy play. You and your entire team will benefit from fielding instruction. |
| Team Practices |
| ATH trainers will work with an entire team to strengthen areas of weakness or simply guide proper team dynamics. For more details on team practices, please contact Matt Sheets. |
